I've always been curious about the ways our minds, bodies, relationships, and environments shape how we experience the world. Occupational therapy brought together the things that naturally drew me in—science, creativity, problem-solving, and human connection.
For more than 13 years, I've worked with children and families across early intervention, clinical, and community settings. One of the things I value most about this work is the opportunity to truly get to know each child. I love discovering what captures their attention, what challenges them, and what helps them feel comfortable enough to explore something new.
My clinical experience has also taught me that what we see on the surface rarely tells the whole story. A child's difficulties often reflect an interplay of sensory, motor, emotional, physiological, developmental, and environmental factors. Understanding how these factors interact allows me to adapt my approach, identify where support is needed, and consider the broader picture—including when collaboration or additional services may be beneficial.
Olive Grove Therapy brings these aspects of my work together: the relationships I build with children and the depth of clinical reasoning that guides how I support them.
