Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs)

Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) provide an independent assessment of a child's occupational therapy needs within the educational setting, with individualized recommendations to support participation and learning.

Individual Occupational Therapy

Individual OT sessions take place in a sensory gym, where movement, play, and purposeful activities are used to support each child's development and everyday participation.

Sessions may incorporate swings, climbing equipment, obstacle courses, games, and fine and gross motor activities to address sensory processing, motor skills, visual-motor development, executive functioning, regulation, and social participation. Activities are thoughtfully selected and adapted to each child's individual needs and goals.

Parent Consultation

Parent consultations provide dedicated time to discuss concerns, better understand a child's needs, and explore practical strategies for home and daily routines.

School Collaboration

School collaboration may include communication with teachers and other professionals, classroom observations, and individualized recommendations to support participation, learning, and regulation within the school environment.

Safe and Sound Protocol

A listening-based approach to supporting nervous system regulation and connection.

The Safe and Sound Protocol is a therapeutic listening program developed by Dr. Stephen Porges and grounded in Polyvagal Theory. Using specially filtered music, SSP is designed to support nervous system regulation, helping children feel more at ease and available for connection, learning, and everyday experiences.

The program is introduced gradually and individualized based on each child's needs and responses. SSP may be incorporated into ongoing occupational therapy or offered as a separate service when appropriate.
